2024 Christmas party and
Election evening!
Polijazz warmly welcomes you to our end of semester Christmas party! Come along and celebrate the end of a great year. Polijazz thanks you for all the great memories of this year.
When does it start?

About the evening?
We hope to celebrate the end of year with music, good vibes and dancing.
And of course there will be snacks and Glögi! We also welcome you to participate in the board members election meeting where you can also put your name in the hat to help run Polijazz as a board member.

Otasuunnistus – 2024
We are hosting Polijazz checkpoint at Otasuunnistus, if you like to dance come find us! We are checkpoint 98 close to the undergrad center doors closet to the open greenary area, alvari side.

Brief!
Open cypher jam where you can freestyle to your hearts content along to music supplied by The Mexican and DJ Tauko who will play beats to keep the energy high. We will also have three Exhibition battles so come along and enjoy the event!
If you still want more then stay for the after cypher rave which will continue on through the night!

Closed –Polijazz end of semester party!
Welcome to the end of semester party! Every semesters end we want to welcome all Polijazz dancers and teachers to join us to celebrate a great semester together, where we can share our dance passions! If you would like to demonstrate your new learnt skills by putting on a show this is always welcomed. There will be music for grooving and snacks and drinks.

SHUFFLE
Teacher – Julia Piiroen

Workshop Date – 13th of March 2024
Time – 21.00-22.00 pm
Price – 15€
Shuffle teacher Julia Piiroen will arrive in Otaniemi to give us an introduction to shuffle as a dance style. No matter if you are an experienced dancer or just considering starting a dancing hobby, don’t miss this opportunity!

STREET DANCE
House Dance foundations
Teacher – Anna Saves
Location – The MutliFacility Hall, Jämeräntaival 3A, Otaniemi
Workshop Date – 24th of April 2024
Time – 19.30-21.00 pm
Price – 10€
Anna Saves is a versatile dancer, who has years of experience in street styles and contemporary dance. Anna’s dancing path started from house dance which rhythms and flow hooked her right away.
Workshop focuses on the foundation of House dance and we’ll go through basic steps, rhythms, grooving and learn some tools for freestyle. No special dance background is required! Sweat and fun are guaranteed!
